Join this webinar to hear not only about the recent revisions to the LMAA’s Terms and Procedures but also about their suitability for commercial activities other than pure shipping, for example, trade and offshore energy.

The speakers will include David Owen QC, who led the updating; David Steward (former solicitor and now full-time arbitrator) and Bruce Harris, Immediate Past President of the LMAA. There will be an opportunity for Q&A.

    David Steward LMAA @ President

    David Steward practised as a maritime solicitor for over 30 years with Ince & Co in London. For the last ten years, he has been an arbitrator and mediator and is now with Arbitrators at 10 Fleet Street. A member of the Baltic Exchange, he is also an accredited business coach.

    David Owen QC Arbitrator, Mediator, Barrister @ 20 Essex St

    David is a full-time arbitrator and mediator, with over 30 years' experience in maritime. He began as a barrister in 1983 at 20 Essex Street Chambers. He was appointed as a Queens Counsel in 2006, was accredited as a mediator in 2002 & is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

    Bruce Harris Immediate Past President @ LMAA

    Bruce has practised as a full-time commercial arbitrator since 1980 dealing with all kinds of commercial and trading disputes. To date, he has been involved in over 10,000 references and signatory to well over 2,000 awards.

    Crispin Eccleston Head of Sales and Business Development @ The Baltic Exchange

    Crispin joined the Baltic Exchange in 2008 after working in Westminster as a researcher in the House of Commons and later leading a research team at a public affairs consultancy. He heads up Sales and Business Development (EMEA) for the Baltic Exchange.
