Steel packaging lightweighting: the next breakthrough by ArcelorMittal in sustainability and performance

Reducing steel usage per packaging unit has long been a strategic challenge—one that is now more critical than ever, as thinner steel means greater sustainability, lower carbon intensity, and alignment with the PPWR packaging reduction target.
