Fukashi is Head of Kansai Amsterdam Office, and Chief Operating Officer of KPIC Netherlands B.V., an investment vehicle of Kansai, based in Amsterdam. Kansai Electric Power is an electricity generation, transmission and distribution business with an annual sales turnover of £19bn, managing £56bn of assets in Japan. The company’s overseas energy business includes 20 projects across 12 countries, including the participation in Electricity North West. Fukashi has worked for Kansai Electric Power for 26 years with a background as a power system engineer. He has more than 10 years of experience in international business development and has worked across a wide variety of sectors including hydropower, renewables and electricity transmission and distribution business. He is also a director on the board of directors of Moray East Holdings Limited, an SPV for the Moray East offshore wind project.
