Julian Turner is the CEO of Westfield Technology Group – Consisting of Westfield Sportscars, Westfield Autonomous Vehicles, Chesil Motor Cars and the National Engineering Academy. He joined Westfield in 2006 as MD after previously working around the globe for The Boeing Company on myboeingfleet.com, BAE Systems A320 Freighter conversions, Mott MacDonald, Cathay Pacific and British Midland Aviation Services. Julian has been involved in the Acquisition, Risk Management and Integration of a number of companies in both the Global Aviation and Automotive Sectors. He Chairs the Niche Vehicle Network OEM Working Group and has held several Non Executive Positions at Hardy Transaction Management, HICOM Potenza, Potenza Technology and Creative Example. Julian was awarded SME Director of the Year for the Midlands in 2016 and 2019 as well as International Exporter of the year 2019. As VP Launch and Chief of Staff, Will coordinates activities across Lilium's Commercial division, focusing on the implementation of Lilium's launch plans, alongside strategic partnerships. Will joined Lilium in 2018 as Corporate Development Manager, leading market strategy development and managing fundraising and investor relations. Prior to this, Will spent 3 years at European ride-hailing business Gett leading fundraising, M&A and operations.
Sarah Kumeta, is a Senior Innovation Officer at TfGM, having joined in April 2020. Sarah joined from Heathrow Airport where she worked on shaping the future passenger experience in an ‘Expansion’ context. At TfGM, Sarah’s main focus has been on working on the Interreg NW Europe eHUBs project, looking to accelerate shared mobility and reduce carbon emissions. A particular interest of hers is to understand how to develop behaviour change so new transport modes are considered more accessible and attractive, gearing towards a innovative and sustainable future in Greater Manchester
Sam Li is a Senior Innovation Officer at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM). With over 10 years of experience working in the mobility sector in both private and public organisations. The Innovation team operates as the “pathfinder” to the organisation, to identify the opportunities and risk for future mobility solutions through real-world implementation. Sharing the learning of these trials within the organisation to make TfGM a smart customer and drive fundamental culture change within public sector. Working in partnership with range of SMEs, commercial and academic partners, in order to provide GM traveller a world-class mobility experience and to achieve critical city region objectives. The vision is to creating future mobility blueprints which are both scalable and replicable to other cities around the World. Current areas of focus include of Mobility as a Service, 5G & Future Connectivity, AI & Data and Smart Cities.
