About this event
Are you an LA officer who would like to know more about the possible role that a Local Authority can take in developing a Heat Network? Then this event is for you!
Through the Heat Network Delivery Unit (HNDU), the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has supported local authorities (LA) to explore the creation of heat networks for over 10 years. There are a number of models for how these heat networks can be taken forward in delivery stage. At this event, delegates will be able to hear from speakers talking about a range of models which have been delivered or explored from:
Many LA’s starting out on their heat network journey will be considering which of these delivery models could apply to their scheme. The purpose of this event is to discuss the pros and cons of each of these options and to aid local authorities in understanding the pathway which may be suitable for their scheme.
The event will also discuss the impending role of LA’s within heat network zoning policy
