Foreign Affairs IT Fellowship Virtual Info Sessions

About this event

The Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship is designed for highly talented individuals who want to pursue an IT-related undergraduate or graduate degree and a career in the Foreign Service.

This two-year fellowship program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides academic funding, internships, professional development and mentorship, and culminates in a career in the Foreign Service as an Information Management Specialist (IMS).

Applications for the FAIT Fellowship 2023 cohort are being accepted September 12, 2022 - February 3, 2023.

One of several high-profile State Department diversity recruitment programs, the FAIT Fellowship aims to attract top technology talent that represents the ethnic, racial, gender, social, and geographic diversity of the United States. The FAIT Fellowship encourages applications from women, minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and those with financial need.

In this virtual info session, you'll get a brief overview of the benefits of the program, the application and selection process, the timeline of the Fellowship, eligibility requirements, and more. Then you'll get a chance to ask questions during the live Q&A session.
