About this event
Student Veterans of America (SVA) hosts this one-hour webinar featuring speakers from the U.S. Department of State and the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship program.
This two-year fellowship program is a path to career in the Foreign Service, where you can use your IT skills to support diplomacy around the world.
During the FAIT Fellowship, you will finish your junior and senior years in an undergraduate IT-related degree program, or complete your master's degree program, with up to $75,000 in academic funding from the U.S. Department of State. You'll spend two summers participating in full-time internships (with stipends) -- one at the Department of State in D.C. and one at an embassy or consulate abroad. You'll also receive professional development training and mentorship throughout the program. Once you've completed the two-year Fellowship and you've met the State Department requirements, you'll receive an appointment as a Foreign Service Information Management Specialist and begin your career with the Department of State.
Find out more about this incredible opportunity at this SVA-hosted webinar on Thursday, Sept 30, 5-6 pm (EDT). Our panelists will provide an overview of the FAIT Fellowship program, including eligibility requirements and benefits. Then you'll get a chance to ask questions during the live Q&A.
