U.S. Botanic Garden invites you to their event

Cooking with Scraps (Online Demo)

About this event

Cooking with scraps is a delicious way to help tackle food waste! Join Lindsay-Jean for a discussion and cooking demo as she shares why food waste is such an important issue to address, teaches how to transform often discarded food scraps into delicious and surprising culinary creations, and empowers participants to make changes in their own kitchens. Discover waste-reducing tips for storing and preparing meals while baking along with Lindsay-Jean as she makes a loaf of banana bread utilizing the whole banana (yes, peel and all!). Or just sit back and enjoy the program!
