U.S. Botanic Garden invites you to their event

Cooking with the Cook Sisters: Vanilla (Online Cooking Demo)

About this event

Winter is often associated with cozy sweet and savory foods. Few things bring cozier thoughts than the flavor of vanilla, which is a member of the orchid family. In celebration of the USBG's Discover the World of Orchids exhibit, the Cook Sisters will demonstrate two recipes using this aromatic ingredient in new and inspiring ways: Winter Squash with Walnuts and Vanilla and Vanilla-Poached Pears with Vanilla Mascarpone Cream.

Intended Audience: Adult All Levels: Suitable for all learners, this program will provide a variety of content. Program providers will answer both introductory and more advanced questions.
