Drawing Cacti and Succulents in Colored Pencil (Online Workshop)

About this event

Beginner and experienced artists alike can learn how to draw their favorite houseplants in color! In this online workshop with Mary Ellen, discover fundamental drawing skills, access confidence in representing the natural world on paper, and learn techniques for working with color to help capture the beauty and vividness of cacti and succulents.

Suggested Materials List:

  • Drawing or colored pencil paper – minimum size 4"x6 (you are welcome to use your favorite sketchbook; you will need two the three pages)
  • One set of colored pencils
  • One colorless colored pencil blender
  • One kneaded eraser
  • One white plastic eraser
  • One pencil sharpener
