From maples to gingkoes, there are a wide range of beautiful fall-interest trees that can thrive in this region. Join Angela and Melissa to learn about the U.S. Botanic Garden and Capitol Grounds and Arboretum collections and discover ways to incorporate colorful trees and shrubs into your own autumn gardens.

Prior to the Garden Angela worked for gardens such as Mount Vernon, Norfolk Botanical Garden, and Longwood Gardens. When not working, Angela enjoys spending time with her daughter, baking, and traveling.
Melissa Westbrook is the Urban Forester at the U.S. Capitol Grounds and Arboretum. Melissa manages arboretum programs, including urban forestry operations, curation of living collections, and plant records.
