U.S. Botanic Garden invites you to their event

Floral Wearables Using Adhesive (Online Demonstration)

About this event

Floral adhesive is an indispensable tool when it comes to design for both flowers and other plant material. During this online demonstration, Arrin will share how to make a modern wrist corsage. Learn best practices for using glue and how this same method can be applied to a variety of jewelry such as earrings, hair pieces, and rings. At the end, Arrin will discuss how to care for these wearables so they last out of water for as long as possible.

If you want to follow along with Arrin during the demonstration, please have the following materials:

2 feet of 1” wide ribbon

Fabric or felt square (2"x 2"), most material should work

Scissors

Floral adhesive

Plant material: 5 to 10 stems with small leaves or flowers
