    Roger Threadgill Global Fibers Technology Leader @ Americhem

    Roger Threadgill is Americhem’s Global Fibers Technology Leader. He leads fiber technology development and maintenance, along with research and product development. A 1988 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University with a B.S. in Physics, Roger joined Americhem in 1989 as a Product Design Specialist in Concord, NC. He later served as a Technical Service Specialist investigating product nonconformances and as Customer Service Laboratory Supervisor overseeing product design. He then led the Concord technical department as Technical Manager, with responsibility for quality control and formulation, raw material evaluation, product design, and technical service. In 2003, Roger earned an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Materials) from the University of South Carolina and transitioned into Fibers Research & Development.     Kayla Riebe Weathering Scientist @ Americhem

    Kayla Riebe is the Weathering Scientist at Americhem, where she manages one of the largest dedicated weathering laboratories in the United States. She supports global testing programs across a wide range of polymer applications, providing technical support related to accelerated weathering and material performance. Kayla earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering in 2023. Prior to joining Americhem in January 2026, she worked in Quality Engineering, developing a detail-oriented and analytical approach to testing and evaluation.
