    Dr. Ashley Bourgeois The Derm Vet

    Dr. Ashley Bourgeois is a board-certified veterinary dermatologist dedicated to providing practical, real-world guidance to general practitioners managing dermatologic cases—especially itchy pets. She is the host of The Derm Vet podcast, a frequent lecturer, and an active educator on social media, where she shares tips to support clinical success. Dr. Bourgeois earned her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic in Tustin, California. In 2016, she relocated to Portland, Oregon to help expand the organization, where she is now an owner and serves on the board of directors. Her clinical interests include autoimmune skin diseases, allergies, cytology, and otology.
