About this event

Dear Veterinarian,

We are glad to invite you to the Live session Webinar with Dr. Ursula Mayer on Thursday May 6th:

“ Alternatives to systemic antibiotics for the management of bacterial skin infections.

14:00 pm (New York time) /20:00 pm (Paris time)

(60 minutes lecture followed by 20 minutes for questions & answers)

Bacterial skin infections are one of the most common skin disorder in small animal practice and frequently leads to prescription of systemic antimicrobial agents.

The closing years of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st century have been notable for the emergence of multiresistant bacteria. With the rapid and widespread emergence of the meticillin-resistant staphylococci it is important to take specific measures centred on the theme 'reduce, replace and rethink' the use of antibiotic.

In order to increase their knowledge and provide to Veterinarians the latest updates about alternatives to systemic antibiotics, Vetoquinol is glad to have as speaker Dr. Ursula Mayer, Diplomate ECVD, EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Dermatology and CertVD Veterinary Dermatologist.

As international expert in dermatology she will provide an update about new approaches for the control and treatment of bacterial skin infections and will share her knowledge and experience.
