About this event

What is this webinar about:

Antimicrobial resistance continues to be of growing concern in both veterinary and human medicine. The increasing prevalence of antimicrobial resistance also poses a challenge to treatment of skin and ear disease. During this session we will review guidelines for the treatment for bacterial pyoderma (both susceptible and resistant) and resistant otic infections as well as how to diagnose resistant infections. With a clear understanding of these guidelines, veterinarians can help reduce the spread and development of antimicrobial resistance.

What can you learn:

  • How to diagnose resistant infections and when to be suspicious of resistance.
  • Review current bacterial pyoderma treatment guidelines.
