About this event
Muscle atrophy often occurs as part of the normal aging process, as well as with many chronic disease processes in our feline patients. During this program, we will review the causes of feline muscle atrophy in cats and the consequences on feline health. We will discuss methods used for assessing muscle condition and health along with current treatment and management approaches. This session will also examine the discovery of ursolic acid and supporting scientific efficacy data, while exploring its role in supporting muscle strength, function and mobility in cats.
This program has been approved for 0.5 hour of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval. Virbac is NYSED approved as a New York State sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
