About this event

You are invited to our Compliance Webinar on 17th November 2021 at 11am to 11:45am. Here you will hear from Lewis Murray (Voicescape) and Liam Gatens (South Tyneside Homes) who will be sure to outline and educate why this topic remains of paramount importance.

Would you like to:-

  • Significantly reduce your rates of no access incurring thousands?
  • Maintain statutory obligations around maintenance and compliance?
  • Ensure your tenants are safe and secure in their properties?
  • Boost team morale and create a more positive working environment?
  • You can learn how one housing association has reaped from these various benefits and more!

Property maintenance servicing is an essential part of a landlord’s job to ensure safety and security of their homes remain in-tact. However, you face a substantial challenge in communicating the importance of these safety checks with their tenants annually. A recent survey showed 9 in 10 providers do not have in-date electrical condition reports for all their properties.

The Social Housing Whitepaper published in November 2020 identified that the key objective to combat this issue was to increase satisfaction in tenant engagement for gas and electrical safety. However, this presents a significant challenge to social landlords due to the scope of the undertaking. With thousands of gas and electrical safety checks to carry out each year, how feasible is it to increase tenant engagement with the current resources available?

This webinar will explore what engagement in these critical areas means to tenants and providers in the sector and how this can be achieved at scale with large stock profiles but limited resources.

We hope to see you there!
