About this event
The international master’s program: Ecology and Sustainable Development is a 2-year English-taught program. It provides a broad knowledge of how biodiversity and functional ecosystems are linked to human wellbeing and sustainable development. In the program you will learn ecological theories, system thinking and quantitative methods to be able to analyze and understand ecological systems, and how they interplay with social and economic systems.
The program put an emphasis on:
- case studies where you work closely together with your fellow students
- real life cases in ecology, agriculture, fisheries, conservation and sustainable development
- learning relevant tools and models for structuring and analyzing complex ecological problems, and familiarity with current software for this purpose
- a full year of thesis work give you the chance to go deep into your area of interest
The intended audience for this online webinar are students with a bachelor degree in biology, conservation biology, sustainable development, natural or health science and an English proficiency level of B2 at least.
