Tio University of Applied Sciences offers 2 unique private bachelor programmes in hospitality: International Tourism Management and Hotel and Event Management. These bachelor programmes combine knowledge of the world of hospitality and tourism with aspects of e-commerce and is offered at our campuses in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
International Tourism Management:
Do you love exploring new countries and different cultures and do you have commercial and leadership skills? The travel industry is looking for you! At Tio the world is at your feet. After earning the International Tourism Management bachelor’s degree, you will sell the world online and offline.
You design trips, purchase at sharp rates and establish contacts all over the world. You might work as, for example, a product manager, event manager, travel adviser of city marketer, but can also start your own business.
This bachelor’s degree was awarded the title of best tourism management degree in the Netherlands for the ninth consecutive year (Higher Education Guide).
Hotel and Event Management:
Welcome to the world of top-class hotels, star restaurants, festivals and sports events. The hospitality sector is looking for you! After completing the Hotel and Event Management bachelor’s degree, you will be able to create the perfect experience for your guests, online and offline. You can work as e.g. a hotel manager, event manager, food & beverage manager, marketing or communication manager or you can start your own business.
The study programme Hotel and Event Management at Tio University of applied sciences is internationally oriented, with study abroad and internship opportunities. This bachelor’s degree was awarded the title of best hospitality management degree in the Netherlands for the seventh consecutive year (Higher Education Guide).
