WorkFlex invites you to their event

Travel compliance updates in 2026 and what HR & Global Mobility needs to know now

About this event

A lot has changed for global mobility this year.

This session brings the most important 2026 updates into one place. WorkFlex's compliance expert Pieter Manden walks through what actually changed, what is still coming, and what it means in practice for international business travel, assignments and work-from-anywhere.

What we'll cover:

  • The provisional EU agreement on a single digital declaration portal for posted workers, set to replace the patchwork of national systems. We look at the likely changes and the potential impact on how you notify.
  • The EU's social security reform introduces a new exemption for business trips and short postings of up to three days. We show when an A1 certificate will actually be required and what exemptions apply.
  • The EU's new border systems: the biometric Entry/Exit System (EES) has been live since April 2026, and ETIAS is expected to follow, likely in 2027. We put into context what this means for your travellers.
  • The first practical experiences with the updated OECD policy on "Home Office PE" from November 2025
  • The visa and travel authorisation updates worth keeping on your radar, summarised concisely.

Who it's for: HR, Global Mobility, People Operations, Legal and Compliance, and Finance leaders responsible for business travel, assignments or work from abroad policies.

Can't join live? Register anyway and we'll send you the recording.
