About this event
On 24 February, ESBG Spotlight will host Martina Weimert, CEO of the EPI Interim Company, responsible for initiating the implementation of the European Payments Initiative (EPI). Launched in July 2020 by major European banks, the European Payments Initiative aims to create a unified payment solution for consumers and merchants across Europe and to become a new standard in payments. The event will focus on the current state of play and the next steps towards full implementation of the new solution, and will be moderated by Diederik Bruggink, Head of Innovation and Payments at ESBG.
