As pharmaceutical cleanroom manufacturing and products become ever more sophisticated, the regulatory controls have also become stricter. The construction and operation of safe, sterile cleanroom environments has never been more important.
The materials employed must combine chemical stability, durability, purity, and fire resistance; they must shed no particulates and emit no VOCs; they must not promote the development of mould, fungi, and other microbial species; and they must be robust enough to withstand aggressive chemical and high-temperature cleaning.
