Webhooks provide a way for an internet platform to communicate with external APIs. In the case of ALSO IoT Platform, webhooks are Rule Engine action components that, when triggered, send HTTP requests to a predefined URL.
Webhook component is used for interfacing with external HTTP APIs when a Rule is triggered. Standard HTTP features such as the request method, headers, and request body are all supported.
