Expert Office Hours are live, small-group sessions where nonprofit board and staff leaders bring real governance challenges and get actionable guidance from seasoned practitioners. Come with your questions—about board engagement, meeting design, bylaws, fundraising oversight, or strategy—and leave with practical next steps and resources. Sessions are conversational, first-come/first-served, and recorded for attendees.
Each month will feature a different nonprofit expert to provide different insights.

Barbara O’Reilly, CFRE, is a passionate fundraising strategist with over 30 years of experience helping nonprofits raise more money with clarity, confidence, and purpose. She’s been part of development efforts at Harvard, the American Red Cross, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and now leads Windmill Hill Consulting, where she and her team partner with organizations nationwide to grow major gifts, strengthen fundraising systems, and deepen donor engagement. Barbara also sits on the board of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance and the Giving USA Foundation,d where she chairs the Research Committee. She serves as past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Washington DC Metro Chapter.
