The Speaker
Eric Guyader has been a member of the Galileo team at programme level for the last 17 years. Since 2013 he has contributed to the modernization of Galileo, consulting satellite navigation stakeholders, such as the European Union Member States, the user communities and the industry. Together with EUSPA and ESA, he has prepared the best scenario of evolution for Galileo, known today as the Galileo 2nd Generation. He is in charge of introducing new services for Galileo, such as the Emergency Warning Service and the Contribution to Ionosphere Prediction. Under the H2020 and Horizon Europe programmes, he has been defining long term R&D strategic roadmaps, keeping Galileo ahead in the provision of satellite navigation services.
