About this event
This webinar will explore the ongoing discussions in Germany and Great Britain (GB) on reforming renewable electricity support, with both countries considering different forms of Contract-for-Differences (CfDs). GB is exploring an alternative to its CfD model used since 2014, while Germany is considering CfDs as a potential replacement for the market premium model. We will discuss the reform options under consideration, highlighting similarities between options in both countries, and how the different options trade-off electricity system efficiency with investor risks.
