About this event

Laying the foundation: Puppy and Kitten Vaccination consults

The new puppy or kitten coming to your practice represents the start of a long relationship between you, them and their caregiver. However, in order to see that patient regularly and to make your job as efficient and rewarding as possible, they need to be comfortable being transported to your clinic, entering the clinic and the consultation room, and being handled from that very first consult to the very last.

This talk will cover the various ways in which puppy and kitten vaccination consults can be used to lay the best foundation for future visits as well as what information can be communicated to owners to help them prepare.

Assessing normal emotional development and identifying risk factors and red flags will also be discussed.
