About this event
Do you know which of your packaging falls under general state EPR, which falls under Interchange 360, or whether both apply?
Most automotive suppliers don't: some assume packaging law is a CPG problem — bottles and cartons, not automotive — while others assume it's someone else's issue further down the chain, an OEM or Tier 1 problem.
Both assumptions land in the same place: no registration, no reporting, and no idea what the actual exposure is.
If you're not sure whether your automotive fluids or parts create packaging obligations, or which of two overlapping programs applies to you, this session exists for you. We'll walk you through how state EPR and Interchange 360 run in parallel, who counts as the obligated producer across a multi-tier supply chain, and how to figure out where your packaging actually falls.
If you're not sure whether your packaging falls under general EPR, Interchange 360, or both, this session is for you.
Come with whatever SKU and packaging data you have, even if it's incomplete. Leave with a clear picture of which program covers which packaging, who's liable across your supply chain, and what to register and report next.
This session is made for you if you're not sure whether EPR or Interchange 360 applies to your packaging, you know one or both apply but haven't registered yet, or you've already registered and want to confirm you're not missing overlap between the two programs.
