Wildlife stabilization for the general practitioner: tips for the first responder

Many veterinarians are presented with small/medium wildlife on an ever increasing basis. This talk will aid the general practitioner in understanding the basic needs of wildlife commonly seen as well as stabilizing them before they are transferred to a wildlife rehabilitation center. It will also touch on some of the legalities around treating wildlife.

About our Speaker: Dr Karin Lourens

They treat small and medium sized indigenous wildlife. She is passionate about conservation and try to make a difference in the life of every animal that comes into the hospital.
