Selecting the correct devices for UV germicidal irradiation in a room can be a challenge. We will explore the optimal design of a light fitting for the purpose of decontamination of the air and surfaces in the space, and answer questions such as:

  • Do we need to know the exact decontamination time?
  • How do we calculate it?
  • Are simple indications of decontamination time sufficient?
