MEDUNSA vet faculty Sept 1994 – ran outpatients section for 2,5 years

Clinical assistant small animal surgery – middle 1996

Lecturer small animal surgery – end 1996

Principal surgeon at MEDUNSA from end 1997

Amalgamated with Onderstepoort 1999 – Section small animal surgery

Subjects lectured – surgical nursing, respiratory surgery, musculoskeletal (arthrology), skin reconstructive surgery, neuro surgery, cage bird and fish diseases

Involved in Post graduate surgical student training towards MMed vet (small animal surgery).

Specific interest fields – Neurosurgery, Cruciate repair, Patellar luxation correction

Published three articles.

Thesis– Serial plasma glucose concentrations in dogs admitted with dog bite wounds.

Since January 2007 at Fourways Veterinary Hospital as specialist surgeon.

Attended various international congresses and training courses on a yearly basis.
