Enhancing Operational Excellence: Bayer's Digital Transformation with Mevisio

Join us for a walk-through of one of Mevisio's success stories, where Sven Loos, Operational Excellence Site Coordinator at Bayer Crop Science, will talk about their Lean and Operational Excellence program and their digitalization journey with Mevisio. The session is hosted by Marcus Wejderot, CEO, and Gabriel Varachaud, Solution Specialist, from Mevisio.

Over the last 3 years, the Bayer Antwerp (Belgium) factory of the Crop Science division has implemented the Mevisio platform to support the daily execution and monitoring of their Lean and Operational Excellence program, OnePSS.

Today, more than 50 tier meetings are covered on 4 different levels (shift, daily, and weekly, from shift operators to the site leadership team) with a scope that has extended over time to production units, utilities, and supporting departments (logistics, maintenance, QHSE, etc.).

Mevisio is at the heart of Bayer's operations with numerous use cases: facilitating tier meetings by gathering data from 15+ other tools (ERP, MES, WMS, CMMS, dashboards, etc.), optimizing production scheduling information sharing, managing performance projects, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and utilizing a problem-solving toolbox including root cause analysis, standards, and 5S status and audits.

Bayer has full ownership of their Mevisio environment thanks to a dedicated organization and team. They handle the platform's highly customizable design and support the implementation of new use cases, as well as the continuous evolution of the platform, matching the Operations team's maturity improvement using such a tool.
