About this event
110 million+ pounds of plastic recovered. 2,300+ waste workers supported. Now, through a new partnership between rePurpose Global and 1% for the Planet, brands have another way to turn their environmental commitments into measurable impact.
rePurpose Global is now an approved 1% for the Planet Impact Partner, creating a new opportunity for brands to maximize their sustainability investments while taking meaningful action against plastic pollution.
For existing 1% for the Planet members, this means the ability to allocate some of their annual 1% commitment toward funding verified plastic recovery through rePurpose Global, without needing to establish an entirely separate sustainability budget or initiative.
For brands already investing in plastic recovery through rePurpose, it creates an opportunity to explore how 1% for the Planet membership can build on their existing environmental commitments and add another layer of credibility, accountability, and impact.
Join rePurpose Global and 1% for the Planet for a conversation exploring how these two programs can work together to help brands maximize their environmental impact.
Jeff Wilson (Senior Business Development Manager at 1% for the Planet) and Lindsay Kenefick (Brand Partnerships Manager at rePurpose Global) will lead the conversation, joined by Kaley Cross Warner (Sustainability Manager at Grove Collaborative) and Dwana Strat (Strategy & Purpose at Innersense Organic Beauty).
Whether you're an existing 1% for the Planet member exploring new ways to maximize your environmental impact, or a brand already investing in plastic recovery and considering 1% for the Planet membership, this session will help you understand how the two programs can work together and what that could look like for your business.
