About this event

Dilated Cardiomyopathy in Dogs: Is it Diet Related?

Dilated cardiomyopathy has been on the rise in recent years, especially in breeds not known to have the condition. Is it possibly diet related? We will explore the role of Methionine, Cysteine, L-Carnitine and Taurine, as well as possible causes.  We will review BEG diets (Boutique, Exotic and Grain Free diets), complete and balanced diets and how foods are made.
