About this event
Technological tools are advancing faster than most people can keep up. The reality is simple, yet profound: the practitioner of today will not be the practitioner of tomorrow. As Artificial Intelligence fundamentally changes the landscape of veterinary and human medicine, the goal is no longer just learning to use new software, it is about leveraging AI appropriately to enable the best care possible.
Yet, a stark divide remains. A recent UC Davis study revealed a substantial AI literacy gap in academia today, with roughly 80% of veterinary students reporting slight or no knowledge of AI, despite overwhelming agreement that it will shape their future practice. We must think differently about how we are educating students today to empower them for the dynamically changing world of tomorrow.
Join Aaron Massecar, MBA, PhD from CoVet and Dean Eleanor M. Green, visionary leader and former Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, for a critical conversation on the future of education and clinical practice.
