About our speaker
Dr Roxanne Emslie BSc, BVSc, MSc, EVDC resident
After qualifying from Onderstepoort, Roxanne joined a predominantly equine referral practice. Here she gained some exposure to equine and small animal dentistry and realised this was an often-overlooked aspect of veterinary science that she would like to learn more about.
She went back to Onderstepoort to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery, after which she moved to Cape Town to complete her residency with the European Veterinary Dental College, as well as her MSc in serval oral and dental pathology.
Roxanne is currently in the process of writing the EVDC exams.
When not talking teeth, Roxanne enjoys all the outdoor adventures that Cape Town has to offer together with her husband, Kevin, as well as her horse, dog and two cats.
