Senior feline patients often present with multiple concurrent health conditions, necessitating comprehensive management strategies. This presentation will explore both established and novel approaches to addressing the complexities of senior feline care, specifically focusing on the integrated management of chronic kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, degenerative joint disease, and other frequently encountered comorbidities.

Dr. Restine had been practicing feline medicine exclusively at a cat-only practice in San Antonio, Texas since graduation and achieved board certification with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in feline medicine in 2020. In 2022, Dr. Restine started work at an ER/Specialty Center and practiced on both dogs and cats in an emergency setting.
