About this event
Presented by Mott MacDonald and Univers in partnership with Port Technology International.
This FREE webinar kicks off a 3-part series on Enabling Green Ports. In this first webinar, we will tackle the challenges of energy security.
Energy security is one of the key challenges ports face in their journey to net zero. Spiralling energy costs pose a significant concern as traditional energy sources become more expensive and less sustainable. The transition towards cleaner energy sources adds further pressure as ports need to invest in renewable energy infrastructure and technologies to reduce their carbon footprint. Ensuring energy security is also crucial to guarantee reliable and uninterrupted access to power to maintain operations.
Experts from Mott McDonald and Univers will share their insights and best practices on developing an energy strategy to support a practical and cost-effective pathway to Net Zero including energy demand modelling for all operations, scoping and assessing options for demand management, on-site electricity generation, storage and networks and future fuel infrastructure.
Join this webinar to hear about achieving energy security focusing on:
1) Energy monitoring and orchestration
2) Microgrid design and management
3) Energy storage
4) Full-site digital twin creation to connect digital and physical assets
This webinar will be a 60-minute speaker presentation and discussion with Q&A.
The webinar will be available to watch On-Demand for those unable to attend the live event.
