Bob Carney, Senior Vice President of Social & Digital Content for the NBA, is responsible for content management, creation, development and publishing across the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and Jr. NBA portfolio of official social media destinations and digital product offerings.

Carney has overseen the growth of one of the largest social media communities in the world, with 2.5 billion likes and followers globally across all league, team and player platforms. He has also been at the forefront of the league’s innovation efforts, including its deal with WSC Sports Technologies, a sports video technology company, for automated video highlight creation and delivery to provide NBA fans around the world with customized highlight packages.

Since joining the NBA in 2001, Carney has worked in the league’s digital media operations, digital products, and emerging media groups before being named Senior Vice President in January 2020. Under his leadership, the NBA has won numerous social and digital media awards, including a 2024 Hashtag Sports Award for Best Social Media Campaign in recognition of The Larry O’Brien Trophy’s NBA Finals Bucket List.

Carney graduated from King’s College with a degree in mass communications and media technologies.

Jim Caruso, Chief Innovation Officer at Elevate, is passionate about transforming fragmented data into actionable insights that drive engagement and growth. With over 15 years of experience in building customer-driven technology, he specializes in bridging the gap between innovation and usability—helping brands connect with audiences on a deeper, more meaningful level.

At Elevate, he leads initiatives that combine advanced AI, behavioral insights, and emotional data to create tools that empower businesses to understand their audiences and make smarter, faster decisions. Whether it’s enhancing fan engagement in sports or redefining loyalty across industries, his focus is on creating solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO of Apollo Program (acquired by Stagwell), Caruso developed technologies that unified data sources and insights to help organizations make informed, accurate decisions. His background spans a range of industries, including AdTech, marketing, e-gifting, women’s healthcare, and enterprise networking, where he has consistently built and scaled innovative solutions.

Patrick Mostboeck, leads Sportradar’s fan engagement division consisting of video & live streaming product offerings towards sports betting as well as OTT / media industries as well as Betting Entertainment Tools, Sports Virtualization and iGaming. As part of this, Patrick manages a team of experienced product managers, business analysts & engineers across multiple locations. Further he owns the fan engagement product roadmaps, manages & develops relationships with key clients in the sports betting & media & entertainment space as well as drives Sportradar’s strategic product partnerships in this product segment.

Patrick joined Sportradar in July 2016 while being originally with the Sportsman Media Holding (which became part of the Sportradar group in 2016) since 2014. He previously co-founded fanreport.com – an Austrian publisher specialized in grassroots soccer. He studied Marketing & Communication at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Poelten as well as Marketing & Sales at the Danube Business School and is now active as a lecturer in Digital Business at the University FHWKW in Vienna.
