Join Dr Triinu Lomp for a free webinar, presented by Magnum Veterinarija SIA and IDEXX Laboratories.
Part one will consist of three phases of laboratory medicine: the preanalytical phase (how and what to do so the sample will be of the best quality), the analytical phase (what are the different methods and measurement principles used by analysers) and the postanalytical phase (what it is).
Part two will focus on haematology and dot plots (the components of complete blood count and what is a dot plot and how to use it).
About our speaker: Dr Triinu Lomp
Dr Triinu Lomp graduated from Tartu Health Care College in 2013 with a degree in bioanalytical science and in 2019 from the Estonian University of Life Sciences with a degree in veterinary medicine. For 12 years, the lecturer has worked in human health laboratories in various fields, such as microbiology, PCR and mainly clinical chemistry. Currently, the lecturer works at the Rannamõisa PetCity Animal Clinic as a general practitioner and the last laboratory she worked at was West Tallinn Central Hospital as a bioanalyst in the clinical chemistry laboratory of the diagnostic clinic. There is professional interest in clinical pathology, internal medicine and cat-specific medicine.
