About this event

Canine and Feline Seizures: Practical Decision-Making from Crisis to Control

Seizures are a common and challenging presentation in small animal practice, requiring confident decision-making from the emergency setting through to long-term management. This webinar will take a practical approach to canine and feline seizure cases, including seizure look-alikes, emergency control of active seizures, and the management of cluster seizures and status epilepticus in light of the recent ACVIM consensus recommendations. Long-term treatment options will be discussed, including phenobarbitone, imepitoin, potassium bromide, zonisamide and the role of levetiracetam in both emergency and maintenance settings.
