TriVoca Health invites you to their event

Best Practices for Developing AI Avatars in Healthcare

About this event

AI-driven avatars and immersive technologies are rapidly reshaping the healthcare landscape—but their impact depends on rigorous design, real-world validation, and meaningful user input.

Med Learning Group (MLG) understood this and knew from the outset of developing its AI Avatars for Continued Medical Education that hearing from real patients and healthcare professionals would be critical to success. So, the company turned to TriVoca Health to help bring in the voices of those it wanted to represent. The result? Successful AI Avatars that truly enhance clinician learning, improve engagement, and accurately reflect patient experiences.

Join Lauren Welch, Sr. VP, Operations at MLG, Shpetim Karandrea, Medical Director at MLG, Tariqa Ackbarali, VP, Education Strategy & Research at Talem Health, and Jenn Petell, VP, Account Management at TriVoca Health as they discuss why market research is essential in avatar development. They’ll share best practices on development across stages, from early-phase concept testing with healthcare professionals to incorporating patient voices when building agentic AI tools that represent real lived experiences. They’ll also examine how structured usability testing strengthens avatar accuracy, credibility, and value, and how backend perception analysis data can inform continuous improvement.

You will learn:

  • Why patient and HCP input is critical when designing AI avatars for healthcare
  • How usability testing frameworks ensure avatars are clinically relevant, trustworthy, and aligned with user needs
  • Ways to leverage perception analysis outcomes to refine avatar performance and measure impact
  • How to overcome innovation hurdles and maintain momentum in the face of challenges
